Over the past couple of weeks I have been trying to put my Nikon D40 to good use. Being that most of my free time is spend around cigars, they are the easiest items to photograph. I wanted to give you a little visual update on how things are coming along and share with you some of the more recent photos I’ve taken.

nudez! No seriously, keep the cigar pics coming. How about some pics of cigar boxes? Are you using the built in flash?

Yeah, still using the built in flash. When I get some extra cash I’d like to pick up an SB series flash and an additional lens for this type of photography.

When you get the remote flash you can bounce it off the inside of a whitened box. It will do a good job of spreading the light.
