I agree with Mike. Kids are 10X worse. Wait until they are asking to borrow the car, or are asking for those designer clothes. Don't even get me started on the cost of braces....UGHH

kids are 10X worse :)

Sounds like he is doing well!! Glad you found something for him to chew on that doesnt get ripped up in a day. I know my in-laws dog (before they put him down for cancer :( ) used to run their 5 acres or so CONSTANTLY when he was young and never got tired! He was a Pure bred yellow lab.

To make him more child like, put a diaper on him that you have to change, hand feed him each time he is hungry, make sure not to EVER leave him at home by himself.... lol - then as he ages you will have to buy more expensive things for him to be entertained with ;)

We also fell for the "industructable" bit, until 30 minutes later I would see my 70 lb Alaskan Husky sitting on the floor with the toy in 50 pieces. We found a toy at Target (of all places), it has a bone shape with white ends, the middle of the bone is a rubbery green.

Both of our dogs (the husky and the lab mix) have been working on that for nearly a year. Best $8 I ever spent.

For the record, no it's NOTHING like having a kid. :)
