Shooting The Breeze Podcast – Episode 2

Last week I launched the pilot episode of my formal podcast, Shooting The Breeze. I was pretty nervous in putting it out there, which is funny considering the number of videos I have produced on Stogie Review, but the butterflies were chased away by a handful of great comments.

My initial plan was to produce this podcast on an every-other week schedule. Because I had so much fun recording the last episode, I just felt like sitting down in front of the camera and talking some more. The end result was this episode making an appearance a week later. I’m not sure of this will be the norm or not, but I hope you enjoy listening/watching.

The video runs about 56 minutes. In addition to the video, an audio version of this podcast is available in MP3 format and can be downloaded below the video. Thanks for checking it out and I look forward to reading your comments.

  • Hey Walt, have not had a chance to listen yet but seen that you said your new pocket pistol is the S&W Bodyguard. Is it the .38 revolver or .380? I have the .380 and love it so far though I only have a couple rounds through it. Waiting on a holster then it will be my new carry to replace my 40.

    • Vince,
I picked up the .380 Semi-Auto. Like you, I haven’t been able to run very many rounds through it yet, but so far I love the little gun. When I picked it up, I also bought a box of .380 Powr Ball and a Desantis Pocket Holster. I have been carry it far more often than I expected. It slips in my pocket and carries great.

I look forward to hearing what you think about the show. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

  • Yea, after leaving the comment I started to look around your site and watched you shooting it. Main down fall is the price of .380 rounds, it is crazy.

    • I completely agree. Picking up a box of .380 stings a little when you compare it round for round to 9mm. Even so, I’m very happy with my purchase and look forward to putting the Bodyguard through its paces

  • Hey Walt, I found you through your YouTube channel. Great talking point here in your pod cast. Really enjoying listening to your pod cast videos. I have been carrying for a few years now and I can relate to your point on the .380 CCW. It’s not the best to carry, but sometimes it just has to work for you. I prefer carry my Glock 27 in 40 S&W. Sometimes you just can not carry that Baby Glock in comfort. I also have the Ruger LC9, and it is a wonderful trade off to the LPC .380 Auto. Keep making these pod cast videos and I will keep watching. Also I am very new to the Cigar World so I love watching you talk about the Cigars. Keep up the Great work, I appreciate what you put into these videos. -Blaze

    • Blaze,
Thanks for clicking through Youtube and checking out my blog. Back when I was shopping for a pocket pistol, I handed the LC9 a bit. It really felt great in my hand but when I slipped it into my pocket, it felt huge. If I wasn’t in the market for something that could disappear into a pocket, I would have given some serious thought to the LC9.

If you ever have any cigar questions, feel free to use my contact form to send me an email, or check out http://www.StogieReview.com

Again, thanks for checking out my blog and leaving a comment. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the next episode (which will probably be recorded tomorrow and posted sometime next week).
