Welcome to the new WaltInPA

It all started back in January of 2009 with a New Years Resolution. I created this blog with the intention of having a place to post random musings. The random nature of my blog worked out perfectly for things that didn’t fit on Stogie Review and gave me a much needed outlet to share what was on my mind.

With the popularity of my blog growing, ever so slightly, January of 2010 was growing closer and a new New Years Resolution was looming. I decided to ramp up my effort with the blog and give it a much needed overhaul. I dropped my host, which I was very unhappy with, and gave the site a new look. I was pleased with the results.

In the beginning, topics were broad. One day I may have blogged about an old movie I saw on television, the next may have been home repairs, and the day after that may have been dedicated to my dog. While this complete randomness was fun, I wanted to refine things down to a few topics and make the blog more appealing.

In late 2010 the focus shifted to firearms and more people were reading and commenting than ever before. I stuck with what was working and continued to talk guns. In August of 2011, my weekly firearms podcast, Shooting The Breeze, was born. While this blog has had its ups and downs, I have truly enjoyed the focus on firearms.

When it was time to give WaltInPA its latest face-lift, I decided to showcase my firearm content. All of my old posts are available in my Post Index, and I’m sure a random musing will pop up from time to time, but the main focus going forward is going to be on USPSA Shooting & Match Video, my Shooting The Breeze Podcast, and various Firearm Topics.

I am still in the process of tweaking the new theme but the blog should be completely functional. Please feel free to read / watch / listen and comment as usual. If you come across something that isn’t working properly, please contact me and let me know.

Welcome to the new WaltInPA.com
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do
