The New IDPA Website Is Here

New IDPA Website - Walt White Bio Pic

As a member of both USPSA and IDPA, I am familiar with the websites of both organizations. While the USPSA WebsiteOpens in a new tab. could use a bit of improvement, it was leaps and bounds better than the old IDPA website. When I first heard that IDPA would be working with Range LogOpens in a new tab. to overhaul the site, I was eager to see how it would turn out.

Being a bit anal about tracking my shooting, the thought of the IDPA WebsiteOpens in a new tab. handeling that for me was very exciting. I would no longer have to transfer numbers over from NEPA IDPA ScoresOpens in a new tab. into a spreadsheet to collect data. Granted, I’ll probably still do the data transfer thing but it should be much simpler going forward.

I didn’t get a look at the New IDPA Website until tonight. I happened to see a friend and fellow shooter, Annette EvansOpens in a new tab., comment on the IDPA Facebook Page asking a question about the new site. I hopped on over to take a look and was pleasantly surprised. The new site has a modern look and feel which is a nice change from what it was previously.

I spent a little time poking around then updated My Shooter ProfileOpens in a new tab.. At this point I like what I see and am eager to see scores entered into my account. If you haven’t updated your Shooter Profile yet, I’d suggest taking a minute to do that. Once your finished, drop a link in the comment section so that we can connect.
