Shooting The Breeze: Morning Routines

Over the last two weeks I have been hopping onto Twitter at the start of my day and mentioning that I am having a cigar and coffee while I catch up on my day to day computer activities. This generally leads to some questions in regards to what cigar and coffee pairing I am going with, or even how I can manage to smoke a cigar so early on in the day.

Rather than type out my routine, I thought I would film a Shooting The Breeze video and let my camera take care of the story instead of my keyboard.

  1. Hey Walt, another great video. Just wanted to add that my father is a big John Wayne fan…Can’t remember too much about those early short movies he made,(I know there was quite a few), but I think I could have a pretty good go at reciting The Quiet man or True Grit word for word. Anyway, it’s nice and sunny here in England so I am going outside to light up a magnum 46 to have with my coffee…Cheers.

  2. I drink Folgers šŸ™ I know, I know, grow up..lol I usually drink a 12 cup pot when I make it so maybe if I cut back on the consumption, the more expensive brands would be more appealing šŸ™‚

So what about cream and sugar?

  3. Mike,
When Brian and I were getting coffee before the trade show floor opened in Vegas, he called me a “Coffee Purist”. Everyone around me was getting these fancy coffee drinks and I ordered a straight up cup of black coffee.

Don’t like adding cream and sugar, which is probably why I dislike Folgers so much.

    A well aged Cuban,
I don’t recall seeing True Grit but The Quiet Man is one movie that I watch anytime I see it on TV.
