USPSA Stage 004: Round and Round

Continuing with the theme of ‘Less Props’, I put together a stage that uses only four shooting boxes. As of late I have had mixed feelings about shooting boxes. At one time I liked how much control they gave me as a stage designer, but from the shooters standpoint I can certainly see how they can get tiring.

With this stage I tried to do something a little different with shooting boxes. Instead of dictating which targets can be engaged from which box, I simply want the shooter to engage any three targets from each box. I laid out the targets in such a way that the shooter has to bounce from array to array to complete the stage.

Just like previos stages, the stage you see down below is free to use. The only thing that I ask, if you decide to use it at your club, is to shoot me an email at walt at waltinpa dot com and let me know how it went. Letting me know about any setup or shooting issues will help in future stage development and the note would be greatly appreciated.
