Ever since I started riding a motorcycle again, I’ve stumbled onto a pastime that I enjoy far more than I thought I would – searching out and riding to Pennsylvania Covered Bridges. There is something about riding through century-old wooden structure that puts a smile on my face and fills my mind with intrigue.

I recently took a ride out to Phoenixville, Pennsylvania to visit Rapps Bridge (Rapps Dam Covered Bridge) which is located in the French Creek Heritage Park. This particular bridge is one a road that connects two main travel corridors (State Route 23 and State Route 113) resulting in a high traffic volume. The sheer number of cars traveling through the bridge, coupled with how narrow it is, made walking through it practically impossible.

I hope you enjoy this weeks video (above) and will consider subscribing to the WaltInPA YouTube Channel for more content.
