As I get older I find it harder and harder to remember my age. My wife has confirmed that I am definitely 33 years old. I’m actually writing this little blurb a couple of days ahead of time. The reason being is that I’ve declared this past weekend as ‘My Birthday Weekend’ and have a whole lot of nothing planned.
At this very moment I am sitting in my local cigar shop, enjoying an AJ Fernandez New Word and a bottle of water, while I try and make progress on various blogging projects. It may sound like work but I’m enjoying myself.
Things are off to a fantastic start. On Saturday morning my wife and daughter made me an awesome breakfast and I’ve spent the day taking it easy. I’ve gotten a couple of amazing birthday gifts given to me early. One of which was my new Asics Gel Cumulus 17
and the other is a shiny new FitBit Charge HR.
I really couldn’t ask for anything more but, if I were to be so bold, I would love to see the Slimming Down Dad Facebook Page reach 100 Likes for my Birthday. It may be asking a lot but I can’t put into words how proud I am of that project and hitting the 100 Likes milestone would mean the world to me.
