Ever since I started riding a motorcycle again, I’ve stumbled onto a pastime I enjoy far more than I thought I would – searching out and riding to Pennsylvania Covered Bridges. There is something about riding through a century-old wooden structure that puts a smile on my face and fills my mind with intrigue.
I recently took a ride out to Phoenixville, Pennsylvania to visit Rapps Bridge (Rapps Dam Covered Bridge) in the French Creek Heritage Park. This particular bridge is on a road that connects two main travel corridors (State Route 23 and State Route 113), resulting in a high traffic volume. The sheer number of cars traveling through the bridge, coupled with how narrow it is, made walking through it practically impossible.
I hope you enjoy this week’s video (above) and will consider subscribing to the WaltInPA YouTube Channel
