The Cigar of the Week, for this week, is the Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 in a Petit Corona format. This cigar is one that I have been smoking off and on for a couple of years now. It has always provided a full bodied, full flavored smoke that packs a punch.

Great cigar. Next time, man up and smoke the Antano 1970 Gran Consul!
nice review walt!
I had one gifted to me and I LOVED it. I’ll have to try a get a few more. Is this really the Casa Magna is disguise?
Islandak,
I haven’t had the Casa Magna (I feel like I’m way behind the cigar times) but from what I hear, the Joya de Nicaragua Antano is going to be phased out and replaced by the Casa Magna.
Thats what I hear, which may just be a rumor.
Chief Hava,
I’ve had a couple of the larger sizes but always gravitate back to the petite corona.
dk_fxn,
Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for the comments, keep em’ coming.

Nice review Walt. I actually called Joya de Nicaragua’s representative in the US and he assured me that no – the Antano is not going away & it isn’t going to become Casa Magna.
