As I’m sure you’ve noticed, the Shooting The Breeze Firearms Podcast has been on hiatus as of late. I had some issues crop up which left me little time to work on the show. On top of that, I learned the hard way that producing a weekly podcast, running between 45 and 60 minutes, was more than I could handle alone.
It was a struggle to not only put together a show but finding time for recording, editing, and publishing was next to impossible. Not wanting the podcast to go away, I’ve decided to overhaul the format in an effort to ease the burden on me.
In my mind, I see this as Shooting the Breeze 2.0. It will be a blend of the old format with the new. Going forward I’m going to back down to a bi-weekly format. Once per month I’ll produce a show that is virtually identical to the old format. The second episode during the month will be competitive shooting based.
For more information, check out the video above or the audio below. In the meantime, I’d better get busy contacting local shooters.
If you would like to join me for an episode of Shooting The Breeze, please get in touch with me. I’d love to discuss having you on to for either a general firearms or competitive shooting discussion.
