Over the past couple of weeks I have been posting range report videos. These have gotten some good feedback and were easy enough to do with the help of my trusty Flip Camera. I wanted to do more though, so when I saw that Contour HD Body Mounted Cameras were marked down in price, I ordered one. The process has gotten more complicated with editing two HD Videos and incorporating them into the same iMovie project, but I really like the results.
In addition to posting my range video here and asking for suggestions, I also posted it over on the PAFOA
Forum (I have been a member there for a few years and find that it has lots of information on PA Gun Law and beyond). I’ve already received some feedback and plan to incorporate it into my next range trip. I knew my shooting needed a lot of work but it turns out a lot of work was a gross understatement. On the bright side, all feedback has been constructive and helps me see where I need to focus my immediate attention.

Did you change out the crunchy trigger?
No, still using the stock trigger. I’ve been considering an Apex Kit.
Hey man my son and I sat here and watched your new video really cool cam work. How do you like the new Stance do you feel it keeps you more grounded and steady? Looks like its working for you so far.
Corey,
I feel more grounded but it is causing problems. I have no consistency, so to speak, and I’m craning my neck in order to look straight down the sights.
I’m going to have to do some reading/watching and hit the range again soon.
Hi Walt, I like the the new camera, looks very good, kept shooting, it will get better.
Thanks. The new camera is a lot more work but I’m very happy with the results I’m getting with it.
