  1. Great show Walt, sucks about the IDPA exp. problem is in our area we are at a lack of options for clubs. You raised a point about buying Bulk Ammo, With the upcoming election, and the wake of recent shootings do you think people will start stock pileing ammo, which will drive the cost up? Also do you think ammo companies will use this to their advantage ie supply and demand?

    1. Corey,
There isn’t a lack of options for IDPA Clubs. Here is a list of the ones I recognized from the IDPA Website. These should all be within about an hour and fifteen minutes from Reading. That may not seem like a lot of options, but it sure beats two for USPSA.

      • Lower Providence Rod and Gun Club
      • Easton Fish & Game Association
      • New Holland Rifle and Pistol Club
      • Hellertown Rod and Gun Club
      • Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club
      • Guthsville Rod and Gun Club
      • Double Action in Yeadon

I don’t know about ammo. I try to pick it up whenever I can find it and afford it (I stick with Federal 100 Round Value Packs from Walmart because pricing is roughly the same as Bulk Ammo Online (After I factor in my brother’s discount)

  2. I should have been more clear about the lack of options I was talking locally as far as under a 30 min. drive, I think as I get older I want to do less driving… thinking I’m 33 going on 60 haha

    1. I don’t particularly like driving ~50 Minutes to Lower Providence or ~1 Hour Fifteen Minutes to Southern Chester, but car-pooling works out pretty well. There is always that option.
