Last week I was having trouble sleeping one night, so I jumped on the computer and tried to find something to do until I got tired. I headed over to Hulu and started browsing through some of their featured content. Not seeing anything I was interested in, I started browsing though their complete listing of television shows.
Among shows like A-Team and Family Guy, I came across a show that I used to love as a kid. That show was entitled ALF
. This show is a comedy about an alien life form (hence ALF) that crashes into the garage of a family. The family takes the alien in and treats him as a member of the family.
I got a kick out of seeing the show listed as available, so I started watching the first episode of the first season. I’m unsure of how long it was aired, but all episodes from the first three seasons are available until December of 2009. Anytime I need to kill a little time, or have trouble sleeping, I watch the next episode in the series.
I get a kick out of watching the old shows and even made a tweet about my find. It seems that I am not the only person on twitter that enjoys seeing television shows of my childhood. If you aren’t familiar with Hulu
, I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you need to catch up on a popular show or watch something that has been off the air for years.
Which television shows did
you watch growing up?

I like many shows from the 1960s to some current ones. I watched a lot of the old reruns from the ’60s to the ’80s when I was a kid. I am a HUGE fan of classic TV shows, and I collect many of them on DVD. All kinds – comedies, dramas, game shows, variety shows, cartoons, etc. Some of the old shows that I like are The Brady Bunch, I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, Batman, Lost in Space, One Day at a Time, Looney Tunes, Gilligan’s Island, M*A*S*H, Superman, plus many more!
