Well, it happened again. Time got away from me and I missed an update. It was bound to happen a couple of time throughout the month, right? Just like last time, I’ll just go ahead and combine the two entries into one.
October 27th:
Tuesday was a day that I’m very proud of. After the success I had on Monday with re-testing my Squat weight, I thought I’d do the same with the Bench Press. My previous best was 3 Sets of 5 Reps at 180 pounds. On Tuesday I was able to increase the weight to 200 pounds and on the final set managed 7 Reps.
The day was kind of hectic and Cardio just wasn’t in the cards. In terms of lifting, it was an excellent gym session. I hope to have similar sessions about once per month when I test for strength gains.
October 28th:
There really isn’t much to say here. Wednesday has become my rest day and I didn’t have any exercise planned. In fact, the weather was lousy and my daughter’s make up soccer game was cancelled. As a result, we wound up just hanging out and watching movies (I”m now well versed in the Tinkerbell Netflix Titles).
Another thing worth noting is that earlier in the week my wife made a Costco run. While there she picked up a container of cashews. They have become my latest vice and I find myself constantly wanting to pop open the container and partake in a few nuts. While delicious they really drive up the fat content in my Macros (not a bad fat, by any means, but it takes a toll on the numbers for the day)
