This past week has been seriously hectic. Between working out, work, and family commitments, my days are all beginning to run together. Things were so busy that I wasn’t able to record the Slimming Down Dad Podcast a few days early, like I usually do, and resorted to recording and editing on Thursday night. My apologies if it sounds a little thrown together because, in truth, it kind of was.
This episode revolves around an experience I had recently with my wife. The two of us went out for a run together late last week. I can’t remember a time when we’ve exercised like that before and we both found it tremendously enjoyable. So much so, in fact, that we’ve had a couple more running dates since then.
In a way I’ve kind of become my wife’s coach. I’m doing my best to nurture her desire to get healthy and become more active. I’ve learned a couple of things along the way and thought I would share for any couples that may find themselves in a similar situation.
